Troubleshooting Electric Trailer Jack that Will Not Move Up or Down
Question:
Jack will not move up or down. There is power to all the other controls. The lights on the jack come on and leveling jacks also work. It quit a few times while in use but reset . When unhooking from the camper it guit working and will not reset. Everything but up or down works. Thanks

It sounds like your electric trailer jack may have a bad battery or a weak ground connection. If the battery is too low, it simply will not have the required amperage to operate the jack but may have enough to power the other functions you mentioned in your question. I recommend testing the battery to see if this is the issue.
Next you can check the ground connection for the jack. Most likely, your jack will ground through the mounting hardware, so check to make sure that there is not any corrosion or debris that may causing a weak ground, thus leading to the circuit not being completed or just not as good as it should be.
