Is the Ball Mount and Shank Included with the Reese Stead-Flex Weight Distribution System
Question:
I plan on placing an order for the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System RP66558. In the photo the ball mount is shown, is that part of the package or do I need to order that separately?

Expert Reply:
The weight distribution shank and weight distribution head are included with the Reese Steadi-Flex, part # RP66558, that you selected. The only item you will need to complete the installation is a properly sized hitch ball to match the coupler on your trailer.
If your trailer has a 2-5/16 inch coupler you will need the Hitch Ball with 2-5/16 inch ball, like part # 63847. If your trailer has a 2 inch coupler you will need the Hitch Ball with 2 inch ball, like part # 63845.
If you have an existing hitch ball make sure that the shank for installing the ball into the weight distribution head is 1 inch diameter. If not you will need one of the balls mentioned above.
