Recommendation for a Trailer Jack with Dual Wheels for Pop-up Camper with Off Road Package
Question:
I have a new pop up, with an off road package. The tongue height is a somewhat ridiculous 21 inches, and the jack that came with it is inadequate. Even when the jack is relatively low the single caster wheel refuses to turn, and it provides limited range to level the camper. Im looking for a new jack that will allow me the height to level the camper, as well as fine tune the position with easier rolling wheels. Weight is no issue, the total weight is 1500 pounds, tongue weight is 200. Is this the best choice or do you recommend something else?

Expert Reply:
A trailer jack with dual wheels such as # FXPD15L are generally easier to move around on different types of terrain. I actually recommend a Dutton-Lainson swivel jack # DL22580. It also has dual wheels. It features 12 inches of lift, fits up to 3x5 inch frames, and is higher quality with a much better warranty (3 years). I have linked a video review of this jack for you.
