Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch For Reese Revolution Pin Box And 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 6.5 Foot Bed
Question:
I recently ordered a new 5th wheel camper that will be here in about a month. It comes from the factory with a Reese Revolution pin box. Im looking at purchasing a BandW Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch. Will this hitch work with the BandW? If not, which hitch would you recommend? 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 6-1/2 ft bed.

The Reese Revolution pin box will not work with the B&W companion that uses the gooseneck underbed hitch for the base. It puts too much force on the under body for that combination.
If you want to use an underbody rail kit, I recommend the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30868 which can be used with the Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - 20,000 lbs # RP30921.
If you want a standard above bed rail system, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Outboard Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56001-53. These custom fit rails are easy to install in your vehicle and are 48 inches long. If you want the 43 inch rails that fit with the same hitches, you can use the # RP50066-58. For the hitch, I recommend the Reese 20K # RP30928 along with the custom wedge # RP44FR for the best fit for your Revolution pin box.
If you like the B&W hitches, the Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3255 would be a great option with these rails as well. The custom wedge for this hitch is # SWW-06.
