Can 18k Lippert Flex Air Pin Box Replace Lower Rated 1621 Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2013 Laredo Rv 324RL, 10500 dry weight with 2800 lb carry capacity. I have a sliding 5th wheel, 6.5 foot bed in my truck. My pin box is a long version I think from measuring it is a lippert 1621. I am looking at the Flexair model . Question- 18K or 16K , can I go with the 18k or is that too much? I always think big??

If you do have the Lippert 1621 pin box you can replace it with the higher or lower rated Flex Air if as the fit would be the same.

For a Flex Air 18k to replace a Lippert 1621 you would want the part # LC328492. You do need to verify your pin box though. On it there should be a plate or sticker that has the model number listed.
