Bike Rack Recommendation for RV that Has More Hitch to Bike Cradle Clearance than Pro Series

Question:

In looking at your website, I see that the first wheel cradle is about 4inch from the center of the pin. On my motor home thats pretty close to the bumper and would mean that I have to loosen the handle bar for the bike to fit. Could I get an 8inch hitch extender to give me some extra space?

You do not want to use a hitch extender on a bike rack used at the rear of an RV. This puts too much leverage on an already strained setup since RVs have a very rough ride quality.

The Swagman Dispatch part # S44FR would be a better option as it has a longer distance from the hitch pin of the rack out to the bike wheel cradles.
