We do offer a range of ramp-equipped platform type hitch-mount cargo carriers that can work for your generator. You will want to confirm that the 2-inch hitch on the Wrangler is rated for the combined weight of the 300-lb generator plus the weight of the specific carrier you select. The Jeep itself also needs to be rated for this combined tongue weight, which will approach 400-lbs.
For a carrier that folds up when not in use you can consider the Flint Hill Goods # FHG77ZR which has a platform area that measures 50 x 30-inches and a 48-inch ramp. To fold up this carrier will need at least 4-3/4-inches of clearance from your hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the car.
