Which Reese Steadi Flex Weight Distribution System for 2017 Airstream Bambi 16
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 Dbl Cab and we just purchased a 2017 Airstream Bambi 16 max GWVR 3500 with a hitch weight of 350 with propane and battery. Is the Reese 66557 400/4000 the correct unit or should we purchase the 500/5000 unit.

If your loaded tongue weight is 350 lbs which this figure includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle then the Steadi Flex part # 66557 with it's 400 lb tongue weight rating would be perfect. Otherwise the part # RP66558 would be a better fit as it has a tongue weight range up to 600 lbs.
Ideally you want your tongue weight to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system.
