How Close Can Overhang of Fifth Wheel Trailer be to Bed Rails to Allow Trailer to Tow Level

Question:

I have a 2017 F-350 platinum with a BandW Companion hitch towing a 2013 Voltage 3200 36 feet long 5th wheel toy hauler. The trailer tows front nose high and I am looking to level the trailer to tow better. I have 8.5 inches clearance from the box rail to underside of 5th wheel cap. Front bottom of trailer to the ground is 27.5 inches and from the back of the trailer is 19.0 inches from ground. 8.5 inch height difference over 36 feet of length The trailer comes from factory with springs over the axles so that isnt an option. Can i get the trailer level with different spring hangers? or someone mentioned something called correct track 2. I really dont want to do a frame light on the entire trailer, as the hight would limit some bridge crossings as we are almost 14 foot high as a stock trailer height. Thank - you

If you have 8.5 inches of clearance from bed rail to trailer overhang you can lower the head of the hitch by up to 2-1/2 inches to get the nose lower. Also you can raise the pin box in the frame mounts of the trailer and that will lower the nose too.

You want to keep at least 6 inches of clearance between bed rail and trailer overhang.
