Replacement Amber Lens for Trailer Clearance Light Like MC38AB
Question:
Im needing a replacement cover for a side marker light similar to this MC38AB. I dont mind replacing the whole light, but I noticed on my 98 Jayco Quest that these lights have two black wires attaching to the existing light. Could I use your MC38AB to replace these jayco lights, and if so, how would I hook up the electrical? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
Trailer side marker light have only that one function so this means that the two wires on your lights serve as ground and power. Some such trailer lights can have only 1 wire if they happen to use their mounting hardware to make the ground connection to the trailer.
We do offer a whole range of replacement lenses for lights in all sports of shapes, colors and sizes.
You can see all replacement lenses by clicking on the link provided. Just click on the color (amber, in this case), shape and size to see options. Jayco does not make their own lights so chances are good that you will spot your part as you review the lenses. For the light # MC38AB you referenced the lens is part # A38AB.
If you cannot find a suitable lens we can help you with a new light; trailer clearance lights are shown on the other linked page.
