I spoke with my contact over at Rola about ladder rack # 59799 for the 2016 Toyota Tacoma with the factory deck rail system. He stated that it is no more than 3 inches wide at the brackets that mount to the bed sides. This is consistent with other brands like Thule and TracRac that measure approximately 2-7/8 inches.
