Brake Controller Recommendation for 2014 Mercedes Sprinter

Question:

Im looking at a 2014 Sprinter 144inch wheelbase 4cylinder 7 speed and Im looking for the ideal harness for towing my airstream with trailer brakes. It uses a standard 7 way connector. The van does not have a towing package. I have used a tekonsha p3 prodigy controller with my pickup and liked it. Thank you for the help.

The Prodigy P3 part # 90195 is basically the nicest brake controller around so I would recommend you go with it on your 2014 Mercedes Sprinter as well.

Under the seat of your 20154 Mercedes Sprinter there should be a harness with a green connector. That will be the brake controller harness. We don't have an adapter that plugs right in but you can cut the connector off and hardwire directly to the wires. We have some info on the wiring colors of your vehicle but I would recommend you test them with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 first.
