Roof Rack Recommendation for Camper Shell of 2005 Nissan Titan for Kayaks

Question:

I am looking for a roof rack for my 2005 Nissan Titan crew cab short bed truck so that I can carry two long kayaks. I want racks for the top of the cab, not a system for the truck bed. I have a camper shell and want to put one crossbar on the cab and the other on the camper shell - the reason for this is I will be hauling a camper and dont want the kayaks to stick too far back and hit the camper. Do you have rack components that will allow me to attach a rack to the top of my truck? Thanks very much!

It's pretty strange but there are no roof racks that are a fit for the cab of your 2005 Nissan Titan, but we do have racks that would fit the camper shell.

The ladder rack we offer for attaching to a camper shell is the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack for Pop-Up Campers and Camper Shells, part # S80510. This rack permanently mounts to your camper shell and has a weight capacity of 150 lbs.

For kayak carrier you then can use the Thule Hullaport part # TH834.
