Can CE Smith Guide-Ons be Installed on a CEM Smith Multi Sport Trailer

Question:

I have a CE Smith Multi Sport Trailer pulling an 8foot Bass Hunter Bass Baby. Due to the low profile, I cant see the trailer when backing it in the water when retrieving the boat. I desperately need the 40inch Guide Ons to center the boat as well as see the trailer. Will the bracket mount on top of the trailer with the U bolts under the bracket that holds the leaf spring? Theres a little area there next to the leaf spring bracket bolts. Also could I mount it on the back trailer frame? Im sure the L shaped, 11/2inch square guide on will be obstructed by the tail lights but if I raise it and the bracket that holds it, I think it will clear the tail light. No way of knowing unless I had the complete kit or if you tried it on the multi sport trailer that you sell. Thank you...Im desperate!

If your trailer is the same as # CE48810 then there should be some space between the backs of the tail lights and backs of the fenders so that is one possible location. Otherwise, if you were to install it further back on the cross member at the back of the trailer the guide-ons would have to sit up higher like you said. The guide-ons are so basic though that I have no doubt that you could mount them despite the limited space on the trailer frame.
