Can a Ladder be Added to a 2013 Dutchmen Aspen Travel Trailer

Question:

I want to install a ladder to the rear of my 2013 model year, 24 foot, Dutchmen - Aspen Trail tongue pull travel trailer. I need to know if I need a specific ladder width/height or if they are generic. Can you recommend a ladder? The height from bumper to roof is about 8 feet. Importantly, I need to know which ladder I need and where to mount it to the trailer body. I understand that mounting blocks are installed but cant be seen. Do you have information as to how to locate the ladder to bolt to the mounting blocks for installation?

The ladders we carry including # SP502L are considered universal fit items so you would go with one that best fits your needs. Some can be trimmed shorter than the stated height. To install a ladder the pegs that attach to the trailer and hold the ladder must be attached to structural components behind the trailer wall. So you would have to know where the vertical supports are within the trailer's body. Think of them like studs in a wall in your house. The trailer manufacturer may be able to give you that information. Otherwise you would have to physically find them yourself.
