Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Compatible With 2016 Toyota Tundra 4x4
Question:
I am looking at your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle 2016 Toyota Tundra 4 Wheel Drive Models Firestone 2016 Toyota Tundra Vehicle Code: F2445 The installation notes say the assembly is not compatible with an in-bed hitch but for trucks with the Toyota Racing Development TRD Package. My 2016 Tundra is a 4 x 4, has no bed hitch, but it is not a TRD. Will it work without the TRD option?

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2445 is a fit for non TRD package. We give that note to show that it will work even on the TRD package vehicles. We have installed it on non TRD vehicles as seen the the attached video. This kit comes with the manual inflation valves and is compatible from 5 psi to 100 psi.
If you are interested in having a compressor and gauge to adjust your springs, I recommend the Firestone Air Command I - Analog Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Single Function - 130 psi # F2158. This will give you a gauge with a toggle switch to raise or lower the psi in your springs.
