Saris Freedom Bike Rack Compatibility With 4 Inch Wide Fat Bike Tires And Electric Bike
Question:
Hi I am interested in buying the Saris Freedom SuperClamp 2. I have a Fat Tire bike with 4 inch tires. Will the rack fit the tires or do I need to buy adapters? Will the Saris Freedom SuperClamp support my Fat tire bike and my wifes electric bike with standard size tires? Thanks

The Saris Freedom SuperClamp EX2 # SA4025F will work for bikes with up to a 4-1/2 inch wide tire. If you have tires over 4-1/2 inches then you will also need the Fat Tire Adapter Kit for Saris Freedom Bike Racks # SA4419 compatible with tires up to 5 inches wide. Standard tires will fit fine in either holder.
Another option is the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes # SA4412B-FB which can accept bikes with tires up to 5 inches wide.
Either of these options will support a fat bike and an electric bike as long as each bike is under 60 lbs.
