Not Getting Power to 7-Pin or 4-Pin Connector on 2011 Ford Expedition XLT
Question:
2011 Ford Expedition XLT, Have checked call fuses under hood, have checked all fuses under glove box.....all show good. Trailer will work hooked up to any other vehicle. When hooked up to 2011 Ford EXpedition, no lights. Tested for power at either 7 pin or 4 pin connector on vehicle, shows no power. What else should I check?

Since all the fuses in your 2011 Ford Expedition XLT appear to be fine, the next step I recommend is to simply trace the wiring from the 7-way and 4-pin connector up to the front of the vehicle and look for any breaks or damaged sections of wire along the way. The fact that the trailer works with other vehicles means that we know the problem is somewhere on the vehicle side with your Expedition.
Also make sure that all your ground connections are made to clean areas that are free of corrosion. A bad ground connection can cause the lack of power you are experiencing in the connector.
If all of the above checks out fine, then there may be an issue inside the 7-way connector itself. You can take it apart to ensure that all the wires are attached correctly. If you notice any issues, then you can simply make the necessary attachments and hopefully this will resolve the issue.
I have also attached a couple of wiring articles that you may find helpful. Please let me know if you are not able to resolve the issue and I will be happy to look into this further.
