Dimensions of the P2 Brake Controller # 90885
Question:
Im trying to figure out some specifics on the exact size of the Prodigy P2 just the controller, not any of the bracketry. I have an ideal mounting location in my vehicle thats just a little bit over 3 1/8inch wide. The P2 has a sort of hourglass silhouette and I was wondering if the 3 1/8inch width specification is at the widest point, near the front? How wide does it flare to near the back? Thanks!

At its widest point, which is just in front of the screw holes for the mounting bracket, the P2 # 90885 is 3-1/4 inches wide. Just behind the bracket mount location or at that location it is 3-1/8 inches wide. That is 2-1/4 inches back from the front of the controller.
The controller is 5-1/8 inches long and at the back the widest point is 2-7/8 inches. I made a picture showing these measurements for you.
