Wireless Backup Camera Versus WiFi Backup Camera from Rear View Safety
Question:
RVS-83112 OR 83112-WIFI IM LEANING TOWARDS THE WIFI MODEL SO I CAN VIEW AND PLACE THE CAMERA IN A GOOD LOCATION. I JUST INSTALLED A HARD FOLDING TONNEAU COVER, IT BLOCKS MY VIEW TO LINE UP TO MY 5TH WHEEL HITCH. I ALSO WANT TO USE THE CAMERA WHEN IM BACKING UP MY TRAILER. I THINK IN MY CASE THE WIFI WOULD BE THE BETTER CHOICE SO I CAN PLACE THE CAMERA IN THE RIGHT LOCATION THE FIRST TIME. FROM WHAT IVE BEEN READING BOTH SYSTEMS ARE ABOUT THE SAME.

Expert Reply:
Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-83112-WIFI is the way I would go. The reason is that WiFi is less likely to suffer from any interference issues like other wireless systems. This system will work with iOS and Android devices. This is another advantage because it means that you won't have to have a separate monitor mounted like you would with # RVS-83112. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
