Wiring Brake Controller to 2012 Mercedes Sprinter Van

Question:

I have a 2012 MB Sprinter that was factory pre-wired. I want to get the Tekonsha P3 brake controller and wanted to know if you have a kit that will connect cleanly to the green plug under the drivers seat without having to do a vampire tap?

Under the seat of your 2012 Mercedes Sprinter there should be a harness with a green connector. That will be the brake controller harness. We don't have an adapter that plugs right in but you can cut the connector off and hardwire directly to the wires of the P3 part # 90195. We have some info on the wiring colors of your vehicle but I would recommend you test them with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 first.

Attach the red wire on the controller to the black wire with the brown stripe on the wiring harness. The black wire on the controller would attach to the red/yellow wire on the harness. Attach the blue brake controller wire to the black wire with the blue stripe on the harness, and the white controller wire attaches to the brown wire on the harness.
