Needing a Replacement Pollak 7-Way Wiring Socket on a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Question:
I have a 2008 Chev 2500 truck with a 10-year-old Pollak receiver 7 wire in the bed that has a broken spring. Weve been using electrical tape to keep the plug ed into the receiver for about 5 years now. Thought its about time to replace the Pollak receiver. What model Pollak receiver is the most recent replacement for the 12-705? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
If your Pollak 7-Way needs to have the wires spliced in, then you will want to use the Trailer Socket # PK12-707E for your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
If your Pollak 7-Way socket just unplugs and leaves a plug-n-play option for your 7-Way, like with part # PK11893-11932, then you will just need the Replacement Connector Socket, part # PK11893.
