Recommended 205/75/R15 Reliable Tire With Chrome-like Wheel

Question:

Looking for very durable/reliable tires for a small 7000lbs 5th Wheel. Will be traveling 500-750 miles/day and dont want tire problems. Looking at: Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15inch Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D Item # A15R645SMD Is this my best choice? Any reports of these tires failing. Will this wheel be a close match to chrome? Thanks!

Although the Kenda, part # AM32418DX, that you referenced is an excellent choice, there is another option I would like to present you with. The silver mod wheel on the Provider that you referenced will not look as good as an aluminum wheel after it is polished.

The tire and aluminum wheel combination that I recommend you go with is the Westlake, part # LHAW320. The reason I would choose this combination over the Provider is because it features the aluminum wheel that will look amazing when it is polished, and it comes with a much better warranty. It has a 5 year tire warranty and a 1 year warranty for the wheel. It also has a 1 year No Excuses Guarantee on the tire. This will also come with the Lionshead Roadside Assistance Program where you will get complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years if your RV ever has a flat in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.

The only downside to this combination is that you will be limited by the wheel's weight capacity of 1,820 lbs, whereas the Provider combination will give you the full 2,150 lbs weight limit of the tire itself. As long as you have a tandem axle trailer, the Westlake will give you 7,280 lbs to work with on your 7,000 lb trailer.
