Installation Questions for the Westin Bull Bar 31-5965 on a 2012 Dodge Ram Pickup

Question:

Can you provide installation instructions for 31-5965? Is there any cutting, drilling, or removal of any parts in order to install this bar? Can the brush guard with Westin lettering be removed from the bar or is it welded in place? Appreciate you responses! I have a 2012 Ram ST 4x4 Crew Cab Thanks!

You will have to remove the splash guard, and if you wish to re-install it you will need to modify the splash guard. If you have the factory tow hooks then you will need to remove some screws as well so you can install the Westin Bull Bar # 32-1965. Other than that, the Bull Bar will easily install on your 2012 Ram 1500 with no problems.

The skid plate can be removed by simply taking out a few screws.

If you live in a state where it is required for your front license plate to be in view you can use the Relocation Kit # 32-0055.
