We offer a couple of different options when it comes to 5th wheel tailgates for your 1999 Dodge Ram 2500.
The Louvered Tailgate from Stromberg Carlson # VGD-94-101 is a great option. This tailgate features a vented design to help improve your field of vision while driving and reduce drag for better gas mileage. This option has a 100 lbs weight capacity.
The 2nd option that I have for you is the Pilot Truck Tailgate Net # TR-03. Although this isn't necessarily a 5th wheel tailgate, it will help to make your truck look good if you need to take your OEM tailgate off for your 5th wheel. Please note that this net does not have a weight capacity and should not be used to restrain cargo in your Ram's bed.
