Will Saris SuperClamp Bike Rack Carry 2 40 lb Beach Cruisers

Question:

Hi - we have a 2015 Honda CRV, for which you recently installed a trailer hitch Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2. We need a bike rack that will accommodate 2 beach cruisers, which weigh 40+ pounds each. Will the Saris SuperClamp EX 2 bike rack work for us? It looks like the weight limit is 60 pounds per bike, but I am reading on some sites that we would need an aluminum adapter for our 2inch hitch to go from 35 lb limit per bike to 60 lb limit per bike. Would appreciate your advice on this. Are there any other bike racks that we should consider?

The Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F has a 60 lb per bike capacity and would work well for carrying two 40 lb beach cruisers. No additional adapter would be needed to take full advantage of the rack's capacity.
