Will Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Fit Onto Factory Roof Rack on 2016 Mazda CX-5

The Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6356B referenced in your question is compatible with most factory crossbars. I did some research on the factory roof rack for your 2016 Mazda CX-5, and it looks like they include aero-style crossbars which have a low profile design and a wider surface for roof rack accessories to mount onto. I could not find the actual dimensions of the crossbars, but the Thule Force Cargo Box will fit onto crossbars with a maximum width of 3-1/2 inches and height of 1-11/16 inches. With aero-style bars, the width will be the only concern. The crossbar spread (measurement between the two crossbars) also needs to be between 23-5/8 inches and 35-3/8 inches.

As long as the crossbars on your Mazda CX-5 fall within these measurements, this cargo box will work great.
