Installing Curt 7-way Trailer Connector Without Connecting Additional Wires
Question:
do you have to hook up the electric brakes extra 4 wires or can you use this kit by just plugging in the flat 4 wire together conactors to run the lites on your trailer without the electric brakes ?

If you just need a 7-way trailer connector for the sake of connecting to a trailer with a 7-way and not for the additional functions then you can install the Curt # C57674 and either cut off or cap off the extra wires.
