Trailer Tires For 15 Inch By 6 Inch Wheels Narrower than the 225s
Question:
2001 Weekend Warrior Toyhauler. 22ft. Has the 6 lug 15inch 6inch wide wheels. The backspacing is about 3 1/2 to 3 3/4. I have an issue with inner fender rubbing on inside sidewalls of tire. Its not the frame making contact. Is there a wheel with maybe 3inch of total backspace to inside edge in a 6 inch width? Tires are 225s

Yes. The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D # TA87VR will give you a little more clearance than the 225s you have, but the internal dimension of the tire will still be slightly more than 6 inches as that is the wheel width so slightly more than 3 inches from center on the inside.
Just for reference...the 225s have a section width of 8.78 and the 205s have a section width of 7.99.
