Load Range D Tire Recommendation to Replace 5.30-12 on Trailer
Question:
I have a pop up camper, dry weight about 1800, gross vehicle about 2400. It has 530-12 load rated C tires that I need to replace. I assume it has 12inch by 4inch rims. Can I put the Kenda 530-12 load rated D tires on these rims. According to your specs, the D tires take a 12inch by 4 1/4inch rim. Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you wanted to replace your current 5.30-12 size tire with the # AM10068 you certainly could. The only difference would be that you would be going up to a higher Load Range which doesn't change anything. You will need to just keep the tire inflated to 105 psi to ensure you get the full 1,250 lb capacity.
