Recommended Class lll Trailer Hitch For 2001 Ford Escape

Question:

I was looking up Curt hitch 13506 for a 2001 Ford Escape and it came up this is not a fit for your vehicle. I went to the Curt Website and it states that it is. Just curious as to why its not a fit.

I checked with Curt and they only list the # C11106 as a fit for your 2001 Escape. This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening.

If you need a 2-inch receiver on your Escape I recommend part # 75118. This is a Class lll trailer hitch and it has a 2-inch receiver.
