Replacement Hub to Replace Oil Bath with Grease Lubed Bearings

Question:

i currently have bearing buddy gold oil bath hubs 5 on 4 1/2 with 14inch wheels and what is listed on the VIN tag as 2250# GAWR Axles. The seal is leaking and i would like to change from oil to grease. Do you have a replacement pre-greased/packed hub in an E-Z lube set up that i can replace it with? The trailer is a 2005 Marine Master dual axle trailer. Please let me know if you have more questions.

I have a solution for you. However, you are going to need a little more information to make sure you receive the correct hubs to replace you current oil bath hubs.

You will need the bearing numbers of your current hub to match with the replacement grease hubs we offer. If by chance the numbers are worn off or not printed on the back of your wheel bearings, then you will have to measure the inside diameter of the bearings. The attached picture will show you what measurements will help in determining the correct hub.

Once you have the numbers or I.D. of the bearings, then you can match them up to a hub. The CE Smith Trailer Hub # CE13210 and Bearing Buddies # BB1980A-SS would be an example of the hub and bearing buddy set you can find to fit your trailer. These Bearing Buddies are made of stainless steel to help prevent rust and corrosion on your marine trailer and the hub come pre-greased.
