Bike Rack Recommendation for the Front of an A-Frame Trailer
Question:
Howdy looking for answers on best bike rack install on front travel trailer tongue. Do not like having bikes on rear of trailer out of view.

First you will need a receiver on the front of the trailer if you want to use a hitch bike rack. We actually have the Bike Bunk # CC-275 but it is limited to 100 pounds total weight. Otherwise what I recommend is to use # D210 which has a receiver and ball mount platform allowing you to tow the trailer and carrier a bike rack with bikes. We also have a towing bike rack, the Curt Clamp-On 3-bike rack # C18013 that you might be interested in.
If you keep the bikes on the tow vehicle then you will not be limited to bike racks rated for use on a trailer. If carrying the bikes between the tow vehicle and the trailer is not ideal for you then another option would be to install a front hitch on the tow vehicle and use a bike rack there. The only issues with this are potentially blocking the vehicle lights, less driver visibility, and reduced air flow to the motor.
If your tow vehicle is a 2015 Ford F-250 you can use # 65049 or # C31018 if it is a 4x4. For a popular 4-bike rack I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. It comes with anti-sway cradles and the arms and whole rack can tilt.
