Will Thule DockGlide Kayak Carrier Fit Kargo Master Congo Cage on 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

I have Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2015 and am planning to get a Kargo Master Congo Cage so I wont have to drill holes and I can mount 2 kayaks side by side, and would like to get the Thule TH896 DockGlide for ease of loading. The Kargo Master cross bars are 2inch outer diameter. Will the Thule clamps fit? or, possibly, another brand cross bars that will fit both the Congo cage and the ThuleTH896? Thanks!

At 2 inches those crossbars will be just a little too large for the Thule DockGlide # TH896 to fit with the hardware that is included. You would also need the longer bolts, # THXADAPT3, which are 80mm or 3-1/8 inches long. Using the longer hardware will allow you to use the DockGlide without having to use different crossbars on the Congo Cage.
