Lock and Key for Replacement Cable Lock Assembly for Yakima HoldUp Bike Carriers
Question:
It does not look like a lock and key come with this cable replacement, do you sell the lock mechanism?

Expert Reply:
You are correct, replacement cable # Y8890284 does not come with a lock and key. You have some options to add one. If you have the old cable and the lock and key are still good then you would just need the control key # Y8007835 to remove the lock and to install it in the key cable.
Or if you need to add a new lock then you could use set # Y07202 which comes with 2 locks, 2 keys, and the control key.
And yet a third option if you need to match existing Yakima locks tell me the key number and I can recommend a lock to match but you will also need the control key to install it.
