What Prevents the Truck Bed Swing Out Step #AS-550 from Being Installed on a Dually Truck

I keep reading that the Bully step will not work with DRWs. Why is that? The DRW fenders make it even more desirable to have that forward box step. Thanks,

I spoke with my contact at Pilot and she informed me that the reason the Truck Bed Swing Out Step, part # AS-550, will not work on trucks that have DRWs (dual rear wheels) is because those trucks are too wide for the leg of the # AS-550 to extend far enough out to make this step use-able.
