Could I Use a Sidewinder to Pull a 5th Wheel Trailer with my Ford F150 Crew Cab with a Short Bed

Question:

Will the sidewinder work on a new F150 Crew Cab with 57 box. I have a pullrite and it works, but I reallly dont like it because of weight, size and ease of removal.

Yes, a sidewinder would work to allow you to pull a fifth wheel trailer with your truck that has a 5 foot 7 inch.

You will need to know what model pin box you have on your trailer, and then you could pick a sidewinder that would work for you.

I attached a link below that has a chart that shows what sidewinder model fits on what pin box. It also has a formula you can plug the measurements of your trailer into to determine if a sidewinder would work for you.
