Recommended Self-Adjusting Brake Assemblies And Grease Seal For 7000 lb Axles

Question:

Do you carry a double lipped axle grease seal for lippert brand 7,000 lbs axles. Question #2 is can a person buy and add just the wire and adjuster to make existing electric brakes, into self adjusting electric brakes, or does a person need to change out the whole braking assembly with the self adjusting braking assembly? For your 7,000 lb lippert axle, you will need to purchase the assembly already made for that function. For your 7000 lb axle, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA. These will be labeled for you as they are side specific. There is an adjustment needed at initial install and then the self-adjustment will automatically take over.

The Grease Seal - Double Lip - 2.125" ID - 3.376" OD # GS-2125DL will work if they meet your measurements.
