Compatibility Of Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk And 2015 Aliner Ranger 12 Trailer
Question:
I am planning to buy a used 2015 Aliner Ranger 12 and need a bike rack for it. One product that I have looked at is the Stromberg Carlson bike rack carrier which would mount to the trailer frame and then hold a standard bike rack. Your website says this product is intended for use with A-frame campers, but its not specific and I can find only one photo on the Internet that shows it with an Aliner. So my question is can this be safely used with a 2015 Aliner Ranger 12 to be pulled with a Subaru Outback and do you have any product test reviews, photos, customer reviews, etc. that might shed some light on potential issues. Thank you

The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs # CC-275 will be your best bike rack option on your Aliner Ranger 12 Trailer. There are many customer reviews on this product that you can see on the linked page. I don't know that we have any reviews of an Aliner. My only concern is probably hand in hand with yours that even though it is your best choice of a bike rack, it may be tight clearing the opening of that front roof hatch. I cannot confirm that this will or will not be an issue as we have not had the opportunity to test it nor has the manufacturer.
You will want to use an RV compatible roof rack bike rack like the Swagman # S64152-2 with this application. You will still want to use a locking hitch pin and cabe like # S64030 along with an adapter bar like # 64005 for any step through frames. I've added a link to all your RV compatible options.
