Thule Motion XT & Force Rooftop Cargo Box Fits on 2012 Ford Escape

Hi, I was wondering if Thule Cargo boxes like the Thule Force or the Thule Motion XT will fit on Malone airflow crossbars? Thanks

Malone AirFlow roof rack cross bars are quite similar to other brands' elliptical/aerodynamic style crossbars. The Thule Force XT # TH6356B mounting hardware fits on bars up to 3-1/2-inches wide x 1-11/16-inches tall so the 3 x 1-inch Malone bars will work fine. Same for the Motion XT # TH629706.

I often recommend to users of rooftop cargo carriers a simple accessory step from Telesteps, part # TE97FR, which is inexpensive, lightweight, comes fully assembled and gives you a foot of additional reach for loading and unloading your roof cargo. It folds up for easy storage.

Also keep in mind that your vehicle roof will have a finite weight capacity. The combined weight of your chosen carrier and its loaded cargo together cannot exceed the roof limit.
