Recommended Exterior RV Ladder to Fit Around Rails on 1981 Wanderlodge Roof
Question:
I have a 1981 Wanderlodge with a rail around the perimeter of the roof. Can I get extensions for the inside vertical legs to allow me to cross over the rail and secure the inside legs to the roof?

I may have a solution for you, however we do not currently have extensions available for the inside vertical mounting legs on a Exterior RV Ladder like the Surco Universal # SP502L.
The Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder may still work for your 1981 Wanderlodge depending on how high above the roof the referenced rail sits. The Surco Ladder is 84-1/2 inches long and the vertical portion of the inner mounting leg that attaches to the roof is 8 inches. The space between the vertical mounting leg and main ladder leg is 10-1/2 inches. I have attached an image that shows these dimensions more clearly to see if this will work.
I have also included a link that takes you to our available selection of exterior RV ladders.
