Recommended 12 Inch Tire With Wheel Combination With 4-On-4 Inch Bolt Pattern

Hi, I have a trailer with 4.80-8 4 lug wheels...can I put a larger tire and rim on like a 12inch if I change the rim:

Yes, as long as you have fender clearance you can use a 4.80-12 wheel with 4 on 4 inch wheels. It will require an additional 2.5 inches for just the tire to clear. I recommend the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30620. This combination handles very well at high speeds and the wheel has a white powder coat over an e-coat for rust resistance. I've attached a video to help.

If you want a radial option, I recommend the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire w/ 12" White Spoke Wheel - 4 on 4 - LR D # AM35351DX. A radial tire will operate better for highway driving and will dissipate heat better. This tire is rated for 65 mph.
