Solution for RV with 13.5k AC Unit that Doesnt Keep RV Cool in 90 Degree Plus Weather
Question:
I have a grey wolf 27rr toy hauler Forest River. At outside Temps in the mid 90 degrees the ac will only bring the inside temp down to 84 degrees. Is this normal or is there a problem with the ac or do I need a bigger unit? Thank you. toy hauler air conditioner 13.5 kw

The 13.5k AC unit you have in your RV is basically the standard BTU rating installed in RVs. Commonly if you have a larger RV and/or go to pretty hot climates this just won't be enough to keep you comfortable.
In your case going to a higher rated AC unit like the # AT15028-22 which has a 15k BTU rating will be what you need to get the temps in the RV lower. You will be able to keep your RV much cooler with this setup.
