Recommended Snow Tire Chains For 2016 GLE 350 With 265/45R20 Tires
Question:
My husband bought a 2016 GLE 350. He says he doesnt want to put snow chains on because it will damage his new rims/tires. Is this true? the size is 265/45 R 20 I checked with Mercedes and they specifically only recommend RUD but I can't find where to buy them.

These chains are made from high quality manganese nickel alloy steel and are designed for vehicles with restricted wheel clearance. They have integrated tensioners that let you control the fit of your chains. You can see from the video that the chains don't come in contact with the rim at all on the vehicle shown.
Unfortunately this is the only option that is available for this size tire that does not require rubber tensioners.
