Recommended Jounce Style Helper Springs On 2017 Ram 1500

Question:

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 and I tow a trailer almost daily with a GVW of 4500 lbs. When I hook up the trailer, I drop about 3inch to 3 1/2inch in the rear. I looked at a weight distribution hitch but that is way too much work to hook and unhook every day. At night, I am blinding all of the oncoming traffic. I dont like the the complexity of a true airbag system with all of the wiring and a compressor. I am looking at the SumoSprings and the Timbren. The Timbren is not full size from the frame to the axle and so I will have a 1inch from the start with the trailer attached. It looks like the Sumo fits from frame to axle and not sure on the Air Lift. Also, they are all priced differently. Any suggestions?

Jounce style helper springs will help you to level out your truck. Although weight distribution would be the ideal fix, I recognize the desire to just connect and go. The difference in price has to do with the manufacturer and the load capacity of the springs. To add stability to what you are doing, the SumoSprings # SSR-307-47 will work fine for your application. It will not have as much of an impact on the ride when unloaded but will add great support when loaded.
