Troubleshooting A Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar With Lock On One Side Not Working

Hi, I was just cleaning my tow bar and noticed that one side doesnt lock. Any ideas?

I reached out to Roadmaster and they said the lock not working on your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-576, most likely is due to some dirt and debris in the locking cam. They recommended you disassemble and clean out the tow bar. There is a cam that comes down to fit into a space on the inner bar. My contact said it isn't uncommon for this to happen and normally it is just further cleaning that is needed to fix it.
