Does Tow Bar Wiring Usually Run Through Interior or Underneath Vehicle

Question:

The 4 wires white, yellow,brown , green from vehicle brake system is always installed prior to your videos .my question is.. where did you run it from ..underneath the vehicle then come up thru vehicle in the rear of car or did you install it inside the vehicle then come out under dash to engine ... please advise ...these are the wise the controller tie into...

Sounds like you are referring to the tow bar lighting that a vehicle needs for operating the taillights of the vehicle when it's being towed. Basically you can run the wires in either orientation and it really just depends on the setup.

I would say most of the time it makes the most sense to run the wiring on the exterior of the vehicle under it since newer vehicles are getting harder to access grommet holes that feed into the interior.
