Recommended Suspension Enhancement To Reduce Sag On 2014 F-250 With Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

AL88396 is the part I reviewed for my F250 super duty truck. Im buying a fifth wheel trailer with 3500 hitch weight and Im looking to take the sag out. My current trailer puts 1inch of sag with my current 5th wheel 2750 hitch weight. Would this be the product for my truck. Also my truck is 4wd

Expert Reply:

To help reduce sag on your 2014 F-250 when you are towing your fifth wheel trailer, the best option is to use suspension enhancement like the Timbren part # TFR250SDG.

These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle and are the best option when you are towing a trailer that will have a load that stays the same. The air bag option like part # AL88396 is a better option when you are hauling loads that have various weight in the truck bed like rock or mulch.
