Roadmaster Adapter to Tow 2010 Ford Flex Using Blue Ox Tow Bar with Roadmaster Base Plates
Question:
Can a 4421-1 base plate be adapted to fit a Blue Ox allanden tow bar?

To use the Roadmaster 4421-1 Base Plates with a Blue Ox Aladdin Tow Bar, you would need the RoadMaster Base Plate to Blue Ox Tow Bars Adapter, part # RM-033. This adapter also works with Blue Ox Aventa, Aventa II, Kar Bar, Alexxa and Acclaim tow bars.
If you do not already have them, we offer the safety cables part # RM-643 as well as the wiring, part # RM-154 for your Ford Flex to connect the tail lights and directional signals to your RV.
I would also recommend checking with your owners manual or Ford for additional measures that might need to be taken to safely flat tow your Flex. Many vehicles require modifications such as a transmission lube pump, axle disconnects or free-wheeling hubs. Some states require a supplemental braking system, like part # RM-9400.
I will link you to the parts I have recommended above, as well as our Tow Bar Wiring FAQ pages that you might find helpful.
