Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2001 BMW 325xi Wagon
Question:
I cant access bikes on a roof rack and am trying to find a truck mounted bike rack for the back of my BMW 3-series wagon. Am concerned about clips on back glass with weight of a bike or two Please help. Thank you.

I was able to find several options for trunk mounted bike racks that will fit your 2001 BMW 3-series wagon. As long as the bike rack is properly installed and you do not exceed the weight limit then you will not have to worry about the rack damaging the rear glass of the vehicle.
Since it is a concern you can stay with a 2 bike rack. If you are looking for the best, I recommend the top of the line Thule rack, the Thule Passage 2, # TH910XT, that you have referenced. The QuickBack gets its name from the quickness that it can be installed and removed. It also has anti-sway cradles and the narrow arms fit a variety of different bikes. Not to mention it is a good looking rack. It is also a well constructed bike rack.
